Introducing our cheese selection, in our continued duty to use and showcase local produce we have chosen five distinct and local cheeses to cover a wide range of tastes and textures
WORCESTER WHITE - a Pasteurised regional cow milk pressed cheese (milk from Tewksbury farms), at over 10 months old, our Worcester White has the deep savoury flavour and flinty texture of a traditional well-aged cheddar.
ST THOM is an unusual brick shaped, unpasteurised goats’ milk cheese from Worcester. The curd is gently hand ladled into the brick moulds and carefully turned to ensure the unique brick shape is maintained.
WORCESTER BLUE - this pretty blue is produced in small batches - no machines are used here! Described as a cross between a traditional stilton and a continental soft blue.
CORNISH CAMEMBERT (Guest) – Made by Cornish country larder, their Camembert has been carefully developed to give a delicious full bodied flavour one would normally only expect from an un-pasteurised cheese. It has a melting, smooth texture and a wonderfully complex flavour and tangy flavour.
YORKSHIRE BLUE (Guest) – Made by Shepherds Purse dairy, Thirsk, Yorkshire. Made from 100% Yorkshire cow’s milk, Yorkshire Blue is a mild, soft, creamy, blue veined cheese. The traditional recipe has been developed to give the cheese a unique buttery/sweet flavour with no sharp bite.
